Threat model

We shrink the attacking surface to its thinest by keeping and logging only the relevant informations and with the smallest retention time possible.

What we collect and store

Privacy is a right. Crocuda doesn't share any of its users data or metadata.

We store some crucial data during an account lifetime:

  • account ssh public keys (to identify a unique user).
  • account balances (associated with the ssh public key)

We treat some metrics, much needed to optimise and bettern our services:

  • host server power consumption
  • host server cpu usage
  • host server ram usage
  • host server drivers state
  • host server network state

Our recommendations

We encourage the adoption of securying habits from personnal computers.

  • Use a VPN such as Mullvad or a mix-network like Nym.
